La Redoute Customer Reviews

Enjoy a bit of European flair at La Redoute

I saw a La Redoute catalog at a friend’s house and decided to look at their website for children’s clothing. I like the European feel and flair of the clothes, and the prices are pretty good. I looked at a few reviews of the website and got really scared off at first. Everyone was saying that the website was poor and the customer service was poor. That was not my experience, but perhaps it’s safest to be wary.
It’s true that the site doesn’t have quite the modern feel that some of the shopping sites do, but you can view the items closely and easily, and finding my size wasn’t a problem. I found a gorgeous cardigan for myself, as well as a pair of shoes. I have big feet, so this is not an easy task at normal shopping sites. Being able to select from cute shoes in a size 44 is impossible, usually. But La Redoute had some whoppers.
I had no problems getting my items delivered, and the delivery fee was just £3.99 for all my items, which I thought was pretty good. I had wanted to have the items delivered to my work address, but that it is not allowed on the first order. Perhaps I’ll try it with subsequent orders. I can’t say anything about the customer service, as I didn’t have any issues to bring up with them. Overall, I found the site easy to navigate, the prices good and the delivery pretty easy.

Great clothing for mums and babies

Receiving the La Redoute catalogue in the mail is always a treat and after I browse through, I do my shopping with their website since it’s easier. La Redoute has a nice selection of clothing and I’ve bought a few dresses and tops there in the past, but now that I’m a new mum I find myself shopping for my baby instead!

I’ve bought loads of baby pyjamas, dresses, vests, socks, bibs and other items and the prices are fantastic. Before the baby arrived I bought all of my maternity briefs and nursing bras from La Redoute and I have been really happy with the quality. Thankfully no more maternity knickers for me and I can go back to wearing the thongs and French knickers I usually buy from them! Typically you can get find knickers on sale but if not I usually can find an offer code.

One feature I love about the website is that you can type in the item code from the catalogue and it takes you straight away to purchase it instead of having to search on the website for something you see pictured. Free returns are also one of the best bits about this company since I loathe having to pay extra to send something back that I can’t even use.

French styles at affordable prices

I love French styles, but I find that they’re hard to come by here in England, so I rely on La Redoute for affordable alternatives. I used to get the catalog and order from it once a year, but now I just rely on the website. It covers everything from children’s clothes to home accessories. My favourites are the dresses for women. In fact, I ordered three for this summer, and I just keep hand washing them and alternating week on week. When I have to wear something else, I get annoyed. Perhaps it’s time to order more.

I have no doubts about these French fashions

I’ve been getting the catalog for years, but I never really ordered from it that often. I liked getting ideas of looks and trends from it, and it had that French feel to it, which I quite like. But it’s a bit different with the website. The site draws me right in and gets me buying. I love the idea of getting dresses and styles that aren’t readily available in the High Street, and La Redoute.com offers that. I just ordered the same simple dress in two different colours because I fell in love with it. It’s so easy to order, and the shipments arrive promptly.

Loving the children's clothes and shoe sizes on offer

I love the Vertbaudet brand children’s clothes, and this site offers great deals on those. If you look in the children’s section, you can search by favourite brand, which makes it so much easier to sort through the offerings to get what you really want. For myself I like to look at the women’s section and the magazine, which offers great tips for fashions right off the catwalk. And I love the fact that they offer women’s shoes and sandals in sizes up to 45/46. I have big feet, and I hate how I can’t order normal shoes in the UK. But from the French La Redoute, I can.

Lovely dress for holiday parties

I've been looking everywhere for a fun dress to wear to parties during the festive season, and that can double duty for a New Year party. Found a great black one finally at La Redoute, and I'm so excited about it. For the price it looks much nicer than you'd expect, and it shipped really quick as well. This was my first time on their site and I'll definitely be back - since I only meant to buy a dress, I didn't do loads of browsing otherwise, but I spotted a few things on the homepage that made me think I should come back after I have a bit of Christmas £ to spend!
