Fill out the quote form
Enter your country of residence, destination, and other travel and personal information as directed. You will have the option to add coverage for winter sports or volcanic ash as well.

Come to us for a promo code
View the Columbus Direct Travel Insurance vouchers available at Promotional Codes UK to find a deal on your travel insurance purchase. To use one, simply click “View Code & Open Site” and copy the promotional code that pops up.

Apply your promo code
Go back to Columbus Direct, and find the “Promotion Code” field right under the volcanic ash and winter sports coverage options. Paste or enter your promo code, and click “Show Price.”

Select a policy
Different policies offering different levels of coverage (and different prices) will be shown so you can compare your options. Tick the circle for the policy that’s right for you, and adjust as desired using the “Customize Your Cover” field at the bottom. When finished, click “Next.”

Review your coverage
Look over the details of your insurance policy, and add additional coverage (if desired) by clicking on the “Add+” button in the box for each optional extra. Then, click “Buy Now” in the far right box.

Provide personal information
Add the name, address, etc. of the lead policyholder in the fields provided and click “Next” when finished.

Enter payment info and purchase your policy
Review the details of your insurance policy once again. In the “Policy Documentation” section, tick the circle to have your documents mailed to your home or sent by text to your phone. Then, scroll down to the “Payment Details” section and enter your credit card information as directed. Check the “Terms and Conditions” box and click “Buy Now” to submit your payment and complete the purchase of your travel insurance policy.
